Summer Vocation Class (SVC 2010) was proposed by our project manager named Mr. Sovann Heng. This proposal was approved by Our Donor Mr. Rick Dyckon 22 August 2010.

We would like add more fun to the summer course at Rainbow-Kawasaki School. So we selected the top six schoolboys from Vogel School to go and teach at Rainbow-Kawasaki School (RKS). The six students divided into 3 groups.
They all got permission from their parents, and are happy to have such a good change to help others (Khmer help Khmer).

Mr. Sophoeurn Sun's wife is responsible fir preparing 3 times of meal for them.

Each group is going to spend one week at RKS in turn, they already drafted their lesson plans on:

• OpenOffice.org Writer 3.2 vs Microsoft Office Word
• Xara Designer Pro 6 (Computer Drawing)

Schools in Cambodia are now on summer break right now.  During the summer, the children from the Vogel School are working as teachers at another school I built, the Rainbow-Kawasaki School.  This  project was the idea of Sovann, our project manager.  The Rainbow School is in a remote (but beautiful) location, about two hours from Banlung.  It will be a wonderful experience  for the children from the Vogel School, many of whom are quite advanced in their studies, to teach the children from the Rainbow School. Many of the children desire to become teachers, so this can get them started.
